IU Successfully Completes Hong Kong Stop Of Her Concert Tour

She got emotional upon seeing the event fans prepared for her.

IU made a stop in Hong Kong on December 8 for her 10th anniversary concert tour dlwlrma, as organized by ELF Asia.

The day before the concert, IU took the time to meet with the press. Hundreds of fans gathered to watch and support IU at the public press conference.

At the press conference, IU revealed that although she has to work during Christmas, she feels happy that she is able to spend her time with fans. She then further revealed that she keeps her fan-voted popularity award from 2018 AAA in her room, showing how much she treasures her fans.

IU kicked off her concert with “The Red Shoes” and “Cruel Fairy Tale”. She also surprised fans by inviting and singing with special guests Sam Kim and local singer Jason Chan.

A touching moment came when fans held up paper cards bearing their own name as IU performed “Dear Name”. IU shed tears and invited the fan who organized the event up to the front in order to thank the fan personally. At the end of the concert, IU missed the fans so much that she came out for another encore after the ending VCR.

After the Hong Kong stop, IU will continue on with the concert tour, with shows scheduled in Singapore, Bangkok, Taipei, and Jeju.
