IVE’s Jang Wonyoung And Liz Left Taeyeon And SHINee’s Key Shook By Their Age
Starship Entertainment‘s popular girl group IVE appeared on Amazing Saturday and shocked the cast with their young ages—especially veteran idols Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon and SHINee‘s Key.
As soon as the show prepared to announce Liz and Jang Wonyoung‘s ages, Taeyeon was already shocked.
They announced that Jang Wonyoung and Liz were part of the group’s 04-line, along with Japanese member Rei. Rei is the oldest at nineteen years old due to her early birthday, while Liz and Jang Wonyoung are still eighteen years old.
But the mere mention of someone born in 2004 immediately shocked Key. His mouth dropped open before quickly covering it. Taeyeon was just as shocked beside him.
Taeyeon was surprised to hear the IVE members were born in 2004 because that’s the same year she joined SM Entertainment.
Since there are idols as young as sixteen years old and born after 2004, it’s understandable why veteran idols would be so surprised. In fact, Taeyeon and Key both debuted around the age of eighteen—proving that idols are now debuting at even younger ages.
