One of the biggest changes an idol can make is to their hair color, and while bright colors are trendy, blond is often the color that catches fans’ eyes. Aespa‘s Karina is just one of many idols to go viral for making the dramatic transformation.

It’s no surprise fans would love to see Wonyoung try out blond hair, as any style suits her, and fellow member Liz recently returned to a similar color. However, except on a few occasions, the idol’s hair has been dark, including the present day.

Recently, a fan presented the idea of blond hair to Wonyoung, and she gave her decisive answer on the matter!

IVE are one of the many groups attending KCON this year and were also one of a few that held a meet & greet with fans.

During the hi-touch opportunity, a fan used the moment to offer the idea of blond hair by showing Wonyoung a photo of herself with her hair edited blond.

The photo seems to have surprised Wonyoung, who looked at it with her mouth dropped open. As the fan walks by, Wonyoung continues to stare before smiling and waving to the fan.

While this response was a bit ambiguous, Wonyoung gave a much more solid answer later during the concert! According to the same fan, when Wonyoung walked off stage after one of her MC moments, she saw the photo and gave an X sign!

The fan revealed that Wonyoung’s exact words to them were, “No way bro!”

While all fans love Wonyoung regardless of her looks, many mourned the lost possibilities while laughing at her responses.
