Kelly Clarkson, Jake Johnson, and Natasha Leggero have since posted more about Jackson Wang. Check out a more recent article here.
GOT7‘s Jackson Wang may have just been “adopted” by Jake Johnson and Natasha Leggero.
You may know Jake Johnson best as Nick Miller from Fox‘s New Girl. The American actor, comedian, film producer, and screenwriter currently stars in HBO Max‘s Minx.
Natasha Leggero is also an American actor, writer, and comedian. She currently hosts TBS‘s Rat in the Kitchen.
And, of course, you already know the multitalented Jackson Wang, the rapper, singer, fashion designer, dancer, and businessman.
Recently, he was in the United States promoting his new single “Blow.” There, he made history at 2022 Coachella as the first Chinese artist to perform on the main stage.
He also guested on American singer-songwriter Kelly Clarkson‘s NBC daytime show The Kelly Clarkson Show alongside Natasha Leggero and Jake Johnson.
The Kelly Clarkson Show interviews one guest after another, but they stay for the next guest’s interview after one comes on. So, by Jackson’s interview, the other two guests were already present.
He told everyone how he chose to pursue a career in music after being an athlete like his parents. Yet, it took convincing them for seven months because his parents were initially concerned for his safety. They even thought Jackson would be kidnapped!
They told me about like ‘This entertainment… No, they’re going to kidnap you and put you in a cave…’
— Jackson Wang
After telling the story, Jackson looked over and realized the huge gaps between him and the other guests and asked if it was necessary to sit so far. Being the social butterfly he is, he wanted to be closer!
We have to sit this far?
— Jackson Wang
Without a second thought, Jake Johnson pulled Jackson in, and they then brought Natasha Leggero closer so that ultimately all three shared one couch. The actors seemingly “adopted” Jackson.
We want to adopt him!
— Natasha Leggero
Jake Johnson then told Jackson everything a child wants to hear from their parent! He encouraged him, letting him know that he was proud and that Jackson was safe, referencing his previous story.
Nobody’s going to kidnap you, son. There’s no caves for you. You made it! You made it, kid!
— Jake Johnson
The entire moment was too wholesome!
