A-JAX’s Hyeongkon to take one of the main roles of the musical “Les Miserables”
Male idol group A-JAX member Hyeongkon takes his career further with new opportunities in musicals as he takes up an offer as one of the main roles.
A-JAX’s agency DSP Media recently mentioned, “Kim Hyeongkon of A-JAX began practicing and rehearsing for his role in preparation for his role in ‘Les Miserables.’“ Hyeongkon takes the role of Marius, a reformist of noble background who cannot bypass injustice and immorality, and is also a romanticist who falls in love with Cosette.
Hyeongkon previously starred in the dramas Iris 2, Vampire’s Flower, and the musical The Scent of Love. So far, the A-JAX member is definitely solidifying his stance as an actor through his experiences in the field. He also mentioned himself that he is “very happy to be taking part in such a great musical and furthermore” and that he “will do my best to give the audience a great experience.”
A staff of the musical mentioned why Hyeongkon was chosen to play one of their main roles, revealing “Hyeongkon has a stable and comfortable singing ability. Along with his in-depth acting skills, we believed that he was most suited to play Marius. Many of our staffs are amazed at his capabilities to mix into his character.”
Meanwhile, the musical will be open for viewing starting from April 1st until the 30th in Seoul.
