Here’s Why Jeon Somi Wants To Promote Her Debut Song “Birthday” Again

Jeon Somi made her solo debut in 2019 with the single “Birthday”, and she recently revealed why she’d love to relive that era all over again, two years later!

Somi recently sat down with Harper’s Bazaar Korea, where she answered questions about herself, her friendship with aespa‘s Giselle, and more!

One of the questions she was asked was,

What song could you sing better now? “Birthday” or “What You Waiting For?”

Somi revealed that she would love to perform “Birthday” as a comeback again, because she feels there was a lot lacking when she first promoted with the song. She shared that she didn’t enjoy the stage much due to how nervous and pressured she felt at the time.

It was my debut song [“Birthday”] and there was a lot of pressure. I was so nervous that I didn’t really get to enjoy the stage much. I think it’d be so fun to do it now.
