Jun Jihyun To Star In New Drama With A Budget Of 20.8 Billion KRW
Jun Jihyun will return to the small screen for the first time in four years in a tvN drama Jirisan, which will air in 2021.
The drama’s budget is 20.8 Billion KRW ($17.7 Million USD), which is a significantly high amount considering Korean dramas’ average budget. There will be 16 episodes that are 70 minutes each and will air on Saturdays and Sundays.
The filming begins this month, and fans are excited to see Jun Jihyun’s return as she has not been active after her role in “Legend of the Blue Sea“, which finished airing in 2017.
Kim Eunhee, the author of this drama, is famous for writing Kingdom and Signal, among others, so there are high expectations for the storyline. Not to get your hopes up, even more, the Producer/Director is Lee Eung-bok, who is well-known for creating dramas like Mister Sunshine, Goblin, Descendents of the Sun, etc.
