Newlywed Actor Reveals How He Won Over His K-Pop Idol Wife 10 Years Younger

In the April 10, 2026 (KST) episode of MBN‘s Moo No Plan Season 3, K-Pop idol Girl’s Day Minah‘s actor husband, On Ju Wan, joined the show hosts Jun Hyun Moo and Kwak Tube on a food trip.

During the episode, the newlywed actor revealed that he and Minah had dated for five years. When asked if they had kept their relationship a secret, he replied, “Not really. We walked around holding hands,” surprising everyone.

For whatever reason, there were no articles about us at all. We were openly affectionate.

When Jun Hyun Moo joked, “I get dating rumors even when I’m not seeing anyone,” On Ju Wan laughed and shared, “Minah and I actually talked about that once… We figured maybe the world just isn’t that interested in us.”

The couple first met through the 2016 K-Drama Beautiful Gong Shim, and later overcame their 10-year age gap to get married, capturing attention. According to On Ju Wan, he made his move specifically during a musical in which they were cast together.

As time passed, I started doing musicals, and Minah said she wanted to try musicals too. She auditioned and joined. I played a role in protecting her, and since we practiced up to 10 hours a day, I ended up spending a lot of time with her and doing stuff for her.

Sounds like On Ju Wan knew Minah was the one, and so didn’t hesitate to take his chance with her—and now they’re happily married!
