A post about a TWICE member’s “departure” sparked major fear, despite the reality being different to the implication of the word.

TWICE are currently on tour, but there has been backlash towards the company as members have not been in good condition, with Dahyun not participating and other members having issues throughout the shows.

On March 26, JYP Entertainment sparked huge fear as they wrote a post with the caption “Notice Regarding TWICE Chaeyoung’s Departure and Upcoming Schedule.” Unsurprisingly, the word “depature” caused major shock and worry among fans upon seeing the tweet.

Yet, netizens didn’t need to worry, as the “departure” being mentioned was actually to the airport.

While preparing to depart today, CHAEYOUNG suddenly experienced discomfort in her lower back this morning. As she requires prompt medical attention, her departure has been postponed. She will undergo medical examination and receive the necessary treatment.

Accordingly, CHAEYOUNG will remain in Korea today instead of departing with the other members. After receiving medical evaluation and treatment, her departure schedule will be decided based on the examination results and her recovery progress. We will aim for her to depart as soon as possible.

It didn’t stop the post from terrifying netizens as they shared how worried the post made them feel, and that the company should be more careful with their words.
