Korean media outlets recently reported that the contract between the members of Wonder Girls and JYP Entertainment would be ending this month.
With only a few weeks until the end of December, there was a lot of speculation regarding what the group’s future with the agency would be. Following media coverage about the impending contract expiration, however, the company has responded with clarification.
JYP Entertainment told Star News on the December 12th, “Wonder Girls is actually signed until mid-January of next year and they are currently discussing extending their exclusive contracts.”
