Record-Breaking K-Drama Ends With 0% Rating Despite Popular Cast

Crushology 101, starring rising female lead Roh Jeong Eui and male leads Lee Chae Min, Cho Jun Young, Kim Hyun Jin, and Hong Min Gi, premiered on April 11, 2025 (KST) to air every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.

The series is based on a webtoon, Bunny and Oppas, about a young woman who deals with a “four-way” campus romance after a break-up.

Despite being on the weekend primetime spot, the series started with a 1.3% viewership rating and peaked at 1.8% before a massive plummet. The drama’s 0.7% rating was the first time a series from MBC had dropped that low.

This low occurred in episode 8, leaving a bit of time for a possible improvement before the final episode. An improvement did happen — but still did not push out of the 0% rating area.
Following episode twelve, Crushology 101 recorded a 0.8%, only improving by a tenth of a percent from its all time low.

Despite this record-breaking low finish, audiences that viewed the program abroad had some better reactions. On IMDB, the program is currently ranked 6.9 out of ten, with 127 out of 217 ratings being 10/10.
