BTS’s Jin Left Out Of “Arirang” Credits Sends K-Netizens In An Uproar
Previously, BTS held a live broadcast to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album, ARIRANG.
During the broadcast, they expressed regret that Jin wasn’t able to work with them during album production.

Each of our individual colors is included in the album, and if Jin had finished his tour a bit sooner, we could have worked together.

V added, “We had time to work together, but he wasn’t feeling well because he was on tour.”
Jimin also stated, “Thanks to Jin, the team was protected so we could release the album.”

While the members held a song camp in the States to work on the new album, Jin, who had been released from the military first, was busy with solo activities. Since the song camp overlapped with his tour, he was not credited on the new album.

In addition, some criticized that, although Jin joined the group after his tour, the album had already been completed.
As a result, K-Netizens were disappointed that they would leave out a member for a long-awaited comeback.

- “This is really something they need to reflect on.”
- “I saw a video on it, and it was strange that the members seemed to be making up excuses while Jin didn’t say anything.
- “They are blaming him when they didn’t even give him a chance.”
- “I thought Jin and J-Hope were good, but now it seems like J-Hope is just like the other members.”
- “It’s not like it was someone else’s album. They could’ve let him write at least one line.”
- “This is a long history of them doing this to Jin.”
