KARA’s Kang Jiyoung Remembers The Late Goo Hara With Nostalgic Pictures And A Heartfelt Message
KARA member Kang Jiyoung celebrated her and the late Goo Hara‘s 15th debut anniversary with nostalgic pictures and a heartfelt message.
On July 24, Kang Jiyoung posted a picture of her and Goo Hara along with a message congratulating the two of them—and fellow member Seungyeon‘s birthday.

Born in 1994, Kang Jiyoung spent half her life as a singer, and she shared how different she is from when she debuted and now.
I debuted at 15 years old, and already half of my life has passed. I was just a little kid who knew nothing, and now I’ve changed my stage name twice. Well… I can’t say anything grand, but I want to tell you that I’m doing pretty well and not to worry, and that I miss you all.

KARA debuted in 2007 with the song “Break It,” but members Kang Jiyoung and Goo Hara joined in 2008 when there was a lineup change. Goo Hara passed away on November 24, 2019, and Kang Jiyoung showed her enduring friendship and loyalty by remembering her and Goo Hara’s debut.
