Kep1er Members Perform Chaotic Rendition Of Aespa’s “Dreams Come True” On Weekly Idol
Recently debuted group Kep1er, formed by survival show Girls Planet 999, are currently taking the industry by storm after the release of their debut album First Impact. The music video for the album’s title track “WA DA DA” has already surpassed 50 million views!
The girls made their first Weekly Idol appearance in episode 547 on February 2nd. While they were there, they played a chaotic round of “0.5 Second Music Quiz,” where they try to guess what song is playing after only hearing half a second of it.
On this song, the first one to make guess is Huening Bahiyyih, who thinks it’s aespa‘s “Black Mamba.”
However, that turns out to be incorrect. Other group members keep guessing, all aespa songs.
But they keep turning out to be wrong!
The true answer, though, is eventually guessed by Youngeun, who correctly names the song as aespa’s “Dreams Come True”!
After the song has been guessed, the girls dance along to the track, and as it goes on, they start to get a little wild. Hikaru in particular goes so nuts during the dance that Dayeon even yells out to her a reminder that she’s only nineteen years old!
