Kim Hyun Joong’s Baby Mama Apologizes for Actions Ahead of Jail Sentence Appeal

Kim Hyun Joong’s ex-girlfriend’s legal team is asking prosecutors to consider the fact that she is currently raising a child alone.

The saga between Kim Hyun Joong and his ex-girlfriend is not over yet.

Last we heard, the prosecutors sought a sentence of 1 year and 4 months in prison for Hyun Joong’s ex-girlfriend known as “Miss Choi”, following the first trial, after she was accused of defamation of character.

During the second trial, Miss Choi’s legal team asked the prosecutors to “consider that the defendant had no motive to fabricate or forge evidence.” They also stated that Miss Choi’s previous interviews with the media were not done with slanderous intentions, and she spoke about the incidents truthfully.

They also asked the prosecutors to consider the fact that she is currently raising a child alone.

At this time, Miss Choi is being charged with defamation of character due to fabricated text messages that were used in a charge of attempted fraud against false damages plus falsely stating in an interview that she miscarried due to being physically abused by Kim Hyun Joong.

Miss Choi released a statement of reflection ahead of the trial as well.

“I am deeply reflecting on what I did do mistakingly, and as a child’s mother I will become a more mature person.”
