Earlier this week, Hwasa dazzled her 6.9 million Instagram followers with a gorgeous new set of photos.
The sponsored post featured the MAMAMOO star wearing the new FENDI x SKIMS collection—a collaboration between renowned luxury Italian brand Fendi and shapewear brand Skims. Skims is one of the many brands owned by reality television billionaire Kim Kardashian.
Hwasa donned a FENDI x SKIMS top and cardigan, finishing off the look with a matching handbag and shoes. The collection isn’t set to drop until November 9, but Hwasa was sent several pieces ahead of the release—a true testament to her style influence.
Now, Hwasa’s power has been proven even further with a feature on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story. Yesterday, the star mogul shared Hwasa’s photoset to her staggering 260 million followers.
While numerous celebrities received pieces from the FENDI x SKIMS collection, Kim Kardashian chose just a handful of standout stars to repost. Alongside Hwasa, other celebrities who were shared to Kim’s Instagram story include Spanish model and stylist Sita Abellán, Taiwanese singer and rapper Dizzy Dizzo, and body confidence advocate Mia Kang.
Within hours, news of the surprising Instagram crossover made it to Naver Entertainment‘s top 10 trending stories, with numerous outlets covering the story. Plus, the K-Pop star has already gained thousands more followers following the shoutout. Over on social media, MAMAMOO fans say being recognized by Kim Kardashian is true proof of Hwasa’s international impact.

Interestingly, Hwasa saw the potential in a Fendi and Skims pairing long before the collaboration came to light. Back in September last year, she was seen wearing a Skims bodysuit with Fendi boots.
