Kim Soo Hyun’s Fan Association File A Complaint Against Popular YouTuber

Actor Kim Soo Hyun’s fans have filed a complaint against YouTuber Kwon Young Chan, accusing him of spreading false information through live broadcasts and other means.

On May 8, media outlet Money Today reported that attorney Yang Tae Young, who represents the Kim Soo Hyun Fan Association, filed a complaint against Kwon at the Seoul Seongbuk Police Station.

The victim, Kim Soo Hyun, has never dated or had sexual relations with Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor, has never committed a crime against the deceased, and has never been found to have a sexual addiction to minors or to be a pedophile.

The fan association stated that Kwon repeatedly wrote false facts about Kim Soo Hyun through live broadcasts and YouTube videos.

“He also emphasized that he was a counseling expert and the director of the Korean Celebrity Suicide Prevention Association, making his opinions seem credible. He also stated he had evidence disclosed to the media, which could be a basis for false facts.

Due to the false allegations that were not confirmed, Kim Soo Hyun has suffered social and economic damage that isn’t easy to recover from.”

Since then, the fan association has submitted 56 statements by Kwon during his broadcasts and videos from March 17 to April 25 to the police, which were deemed defamatory against Kim Soo Hyun.
