Third-generation group KNK will be debuting a new member.
On December 6, KNK’s official Instagram account posted a photo of their new member, Kim Hyunjong (Hyunjong).
Fans may recognize Hyunjong from his time with another boy group, Romeo. The idol debuted with the group in 2015 and was a popular member of the group.
Hyunjong is best remembered for his time competing on JTBC‘s idol survival show, MixNine. Hyunjong was a very popular contestant on the show whose visuals were voted top 3 in the competition.
Netizens showed a mixed reaction to the news, with many expressing confusion.
Meanwhile, Hyunjong will be joining KNK, a group that debuted in 2016 with their single “Knock.” The group also released songs such as “Back Again,” “Lonely Night” and “Ride.” The group, which originally debuted as a five-member group, is now a four-member group after the exit of Heejun and Seoham.
