Korean Director Park Hee Gon Passes Away At Age 56
Director Park Hee Gon, known for directing films such as Insadong Scandal, Perfect Game, Target, and more, has passed away. He was 56 years old.

According to the film industry, Park Hee Gon died on April 30. The cause of death was not disclosed.
Born in 1969, he started out as a commercial director before becoming a director in 1999 with the film Insadong Scandal.

In 2011, he received the spotlight with the film Perfect Game, which was based on a true story about Korean baseball legends.

His film Target, released in 2023, has become his posthumous film. It was a thriller based on a second-hand transaction crime starring Shin Hye Sun, Kim Sung Kyun, and others.

His funeral has been revealed to be at Myongji Hospital in Goyang. The funeral will be held at 6:40 AM KST on May 2, and the burial site will be the Seoul City Crematorium.
