Korean Man’s Reason For Assaulting Woman Sparks Massive Fury
On July 14, the Seoul Suseo Police Station announced that Mr. A, a man in his 30s, had turned himself in.
It was revealed he had assaulted an unknown woman in the middle of downtown Gangnam, run away, and was caught by the police.

Mr. A is accused of kicking a woman from behind and knocking her down while she was walking on the street in Yeoksam-dong, on the morning of July 10.
It was reported that Mr. A revealed during the police investigation that he had assaulted the woman because he was feeling bad while passing by.

The police revealed that there was no evidence of drinking or drugs and that there were no additional crimes. However, since the victim was injured, they plan to charge him with assault and continue the investigation without detention.
Netizens were absolutely infuriated at the man’s reason for the assault.

- “The biggest crime for Korean men is making them feel bad… sadly, it’s worse than murder.”
- “I think he should be taken to the mental hospital.”
- “They only listened to the perpetrator’s side and investigated without detention…they turned themselves in because they knew they wouldn’t be punished.”
- “Such a moron.”
- “Since I feel bad, let’s give him the death sentence.”
- “Why are men so emotional…”
- “Hitting women, killing women, only picking women to kill because they feel bad…I guess this is how Korean men are…”
