A Korean star couple is finally getting married after nine years of dating, as they surprised fans by announcing their wedding plans for the next day.
Along with their marriage announcement, singer O3ohn and Jeon Joonie shared wedding photos that attracted attention with their unique atmosphere.
The pictures showcased their distinctive casual couple looks, including white short-sleeved T-shirts and pants, mesh stockings, as well as Jeon Joonie’s one-piece long braid down to her knees paired with a veil, exuding a singular charm. O3ohn appeared charming as well, dressed in a vintage suit, escorting the bride.
O3ohn briefly expressed his feelings, saying, “We are getting married! We will live happily. We’re planning a small ceremony, so unfortunately, we can’t invite many people! Thank you for loving bachelor O3ohn all this time.”
Jeon Joonie posted a longer heartfelt message. She began, “I always thought marriage was just a hassle since we’re going to have fun together for life anyway. But suddenly, I wanted to use this excuse to gather the people we love to have a great time before we grow old and tired. So, I made a reason for it. And by the way, I’m taking O3ohn with me. We’re getting married tomorrow,” expressing her excitement about marrying her longtime partner O3ohn.
She also acknowledged those who helped with their wedding preparations, mentioning her “little angel” who stayed up all night despite a hectic schedule to bring along and help with their items, a “forever number one photographer” who came to model for a project in high school and ended up shooting their wedding photos and even cried during the shoot, and the person who created a unique and beautiful wedding photo book. She thanked those who helped with font choices, graphic layout, and ordering for their invitations, someone who saved her when the dress she hurriedly bought was too sheer by quickly sourcing matching fabric, and the “top-class expert” who hand-stitched the complex dress so she could finally wear it.
Above all, she said, “Despite saying I prepared the wedding alone, I actually received a lot of love and help, and I will live hard to repay it many times over. Finally, I’m free—I was wondering when this damn wedding prep would end. Tomorrow, we’re going to have fun, so don’t stop me,” hinting that their wedding will strongly reflect their unique personality.
O3ohn debuted as a singer in 2016 with (O). Since then, he has released various singles like “Kalt,” “Loner,” and performed OSTs for popular dramas such as Mr. Sunshine, Jirisan, and Extraordinary Attorney Woo. He has recently gained fame appearing in multiple YouTube contents.
Jeon Joonie, who performed under the stage name “Joonie,” is a singer. She is also the younger sister of actress Jeon So Nee. The sisters Jeon So Nee and Jeon Joonie are daughters of Ko Jae Sook, a member of the 1970s twin duo Bunny Girls.
O3ohn and Jeon Joonie formed the project band Pigfrog. They had maintained their relationship for over nine years and established themselves as an official couple in the music industry, often regarded as living in a common-law partnership.
