Korean star Park Bo Mi recalls her son who passed away three years ago with a heartfelt message.

On May 19, Park Bo Mi posted a lengthy message on her social media account, writing, “May 20, 2023, is the day our Simon became a star in the sky.”

She continued, “At that time, it felt as if the world had stopped, but time has passed, and tomorrow marks Simon’s third anniversary. The hymn I heard the day he became a star in the sky made my heart tremble and brought tears just from the intro, so I couldn’t listen to it for a while. Now I’m grateful that I can play it like a lullaby every day.”

Park Bo Mi shared that with time, she has been able to smile and reminisce through photos and videos, adding, “Our son taught me how great a blessing normal daily life is! Though his time was short, I loved him more deeply than anyone, and our first son, Park Simon, still lives in our hearts. I always love you, but today I love you even more.”

Park Bo Mi married soccer player Park Yo Han in 2020 and gave birth to a son in March 2022, but tragically lost him after 15 months. After two miscarriages, she gave birth to a daughter last October.
