5th Gen Idol’s Selfless Act Of Kindness Caught On Video

Idols lead busy lives, but some are always willing to make time to be kind to the people around them, even total strangers.

On X (formerly Twitter), fans shared a clip of Donghyeon, a member of the 5th generation boy group KickFlip that debuted under JYP Entertainment last year. He was filmed while helping an older woman while on his way home fro the night.

When he spotted the woman, who was pushing a cart overflowing with bags, he stopped to check in on her and offer assistance.

Donghyeon picked up one of the woman’s bags and helped her move her cart along.

The video, which has racked up over a million views and 23k+ likes radiates genuine warmth rather than staged publicity.  In the comments, some netizens pointed out that this kind of behavior isn’t out of character for the idol, who has previously been spotted helping people.

I’ve heard stories like this twice about Donghyeon from JYP Entertainment. Previously, he helped an elderly man move his belongings into a box truck on his way to the JYP Entertainment building. Now, he did something similar for an elderly woman after leaving JYP Entertainment.
