On June 2, AND2BLE earned their first-ever music show win for “Curious” on The Show.

As expected, it was an emotional moment, where the members were congratulated by their peers onstage as they celebrated this achievement.

Cameras captured Gyuvin hugging someone whom netizens mistook for a woman; Wumuti, a member of the genderless K-Pop group XG.

Gyuvin has since clarified the matter, confirming that the “girl” is actually Wumuti, who goes by both male and female pronouns and has an androgynous appearance. He spoke up about the situation because he wanted to avoid misunderstandings with his fans.

As for fans, well, they think the whole situation is hilarious!

The person who hugged me after we got first place yesterday wasn’t a woman — it was Wumuti hyung.
