The film has sparked major reactions worldwide, being covered and spoken about by K-Pop idols.

Everything Sony’s “KPop Demon Hunters” Got Right — And Disney Got Wrong

Recently, IVE‘s Liz, Rei, and Gaeul joined the trend and surprised fans by dancing to “Golden” but with their own choreography for “I AM,” which netizens sensed was similar to the concept and tune.

Netizens noticed that the creator had RT and shared posts about many other idols’ covers from the film, including BTS‘s Jungkook, ACE‘s Park Junhee and AlexA (now known as Kim Seri), and idols on M Countdown.

Many also pointed out that IVE could have been shading the show as the similarities between IVE’s songs and concepts to those in the movie are obvious, but how much worse it is considering that the writer didn’t acknowledge IVE’s version.

While some netizens think it is “too far,” IVE fans don’t agree.
