K-Pop Idol Confirms Group’s Silent Disbandment While Discussing The “Horrific” Circumstances
Usually, when a group disbands, official notice is given, and final schedules are planned. This gives fans a chance to accept what is going to happen and get closure on their faves no longer promoting together.
However, sometimes, a group’s disbandment is left unclear, with unofficial disbandments unfortunately occurring more often than fans would like.
Popular K-Pop Idols’ Tearful Final Group Activities Leave Many Heartbroken
A former idol recently confirmed that her group was disbanded while exposing how they were treated under the company.
In 2019, the girl group ARIAZ was formed under Rising Star Entertainment, with multiple members having previously appeared on survival shows.

By 2022, several members had left the company and terminated their contracts, with no official disbandment notice issued.
Recently, member Hyogyeong spoke about this time on her YouTube channel, where she also revealed that she was initially left in debt.

In the video, Hyogyeong explains that her five years of training and three years of promotion left her owing money, and that when her first settlement arrived, she was surprised to see the debt she still owed.
She then confirms the group was officially disbanded rather than members leaving due to contract expirations, saying that after three years, they received a disbandment notice. Luckily, Hyogyeong says that her debt was written off by the company, leaving her with a million dollars worth of experience.
Watchers expressed various opinions, many shocked by what she shared, while others found her humor over the situation to be funny.
