These Are The 4 Newest K-Pop Additions To Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales Chart

One artist has their highest-charting song yet!

As with every week, Billboard has just updated their World Digital Song Sales chart, which lists the top 25 best-performing international singles in the United States based on sales. While there are songs from countries all over the world that end up on the chart, K-Pop is often a dominating force on it.

This week, four new K-Pop songs have made their debut on the list!

The highest-ranking new song comes in at #3, which is taken by IU‘s latest single, “Celebrity”. Apart from her song “Eight” featuring BTS‘s Suga, which reached #1, this is now tied with only one of her other songs for her highest-ranking single on the chart. “You and I” also reached #3 back in 2011, and she’s had 15 songs in total end up on this Billboard list.

The next new song on the chart is Dreamcatcher‘s “Odd Eye”, which comes in at #5 for its debut week. This is now the girl group’s highest-ranking song on the list, with eight other of their songs charting in the past and the next-highest ranking being “Scream”, which reached #6 early last year!

The third newly debuted K-Pop song is HyunA‘s hot new hit, “I’m Not Cool”. It comes in at #19 for its debut week, and she’s had 9 songs in total make it onto the chart, the highest-ranking of which is “Roll Deep” that peaked at #3 back in 2015. Her other songs have ranked higher than this on the chart, so it’s very possible it will climb higher in time!

And finally, the last new song to make it onto the Billboard chart is “D-D-Dance” by IZ*ONE, which just made it onto the end of the list at #25. This is the girl group’s sixth song to make it onto the chart, with their highest-ranking so far being their debut hit “La Vie en Rose”, which peaked at #6 in 2018.

Apart from these four songs, 13 other K-Pop songs ranked on the chart this week, bringing the total number to 17 out of the 25 songs on this week’s Digital Song Sales chart! Others ranking this week are BTS’s “Life Goes On” (#9), “Euphoria” (#10), “My Time” (#11), “Filter” (#12), “Mic Drop” (#21), and “Boy With Luv” (#24); BLACKPINK‘s “How You Like That” (#8) and “Kill This Love” (#18); (G)I-DLE‘s “HWAA” (#6); Epik High‘s “Rosario” (#16); PSY‘s “Gangnam Style” (#20); TWICE‘s “I Can’t Stop Me” (#22); and finally, ONEUS‘s “No Diggity” (#23).

Congratulations to everyone who charted this week!
