This Week, 5 New K-Pop Songs Make Their Debut On Billboard World Digital Song Sales Chart

One artist has never charted before, and has three of the debuting songs!

Each week, Billboard updates its World Digital Song Sales chart to show which international singles are performing the best in terms of sales in the United States.

While there are several songs, most notably “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” by Israel “IZ” Kamakawiwo’Ole, that spend pretty much every week on the chart, there are typically several new debuts each week, and this time around, 5 new K-Pop songs have made it onto the list for the first time!

The highest-ranking new song on the chart this week is ITZY‘s “Trust Me”, which makes its debut at #11 on the 25-song list! It’s the group’s 7th song to make it onto this Billboard chart, with their highest-ranking so far being their debut song “DALLA DALLA”, which peaked at #2 in 2019.

Next to make it onto the chart is former iKON member B.I, who is debuting for the first time as a solo artist on the Billboard list! He has not just one, but actually three songs ranking this week, with “Midnight Blue” being the highest at #14.

His other two songs ranking currently are “Blossom” at #17, and “Remember Me” at #18!

The last new K-Pop artist to have a new song chart this week is ATEEZ with the title track off of their new Japanese album Into the A to Z, “Still Here”! It’s usually more difficult for Japanese songs by K-Pop artists to make it onto this Billboard chart, and so even though it comes in at #24 out of 25 songs, that’s still a huge accomplishment!

This is ATEEZ’s 11th song to make it onto the Billboard list, with three of their songs tying for the highest peak at #6: “Wonderland” in 2019, “Answer” in 2020, and “Fireworks (I’m The One)”, which was still on the chart just a week ago.

Along with these 5 new songs, 11 other K-Pop songs ranked on the World Digital Song Sales chart this week as well! BTS keeps its name as the most successful artist on the list, with 6 of them belonging to the group: “Life Goes On” at #3; “Euphoria” at #4; “My Time” at #6; “Filter” at #9; “Mic Drop” (ft. Desiigner) at #15; and “Boy With Luv” (ft. Halsey) at #20!

Jessi‘s latest hit “What Type of X” spends its 2nd week on the chart at #5, up from its position at #8 last week! BLACKPINK‘s “How You Like That” is ranked at #10 this week — the same as last — and has now been on the chart for 38 weeks total. The recently massively popular “Rollin'” by Brave Girls also spends a second week on the list, up from #16 to rank at #13 this time around!

The last two K-Pop songs charting this week are “Gangnam Style” by PSY, which re-entered the list at #16 for its 358th week, and Super Junior‘s “House Party”, spending its second week at #21 and up from #25 last week.

Congratulations to all artists that made it this week!
