That day, K.Will caught attention by mentioning that he is currently serving as a director at Starship Entertainment. He said, “I became a director last year, and it’s been over a year now,” adding, “Some say I’m just a figurehead director, but I have four major insurances and receive a salary,” surprising the studio.
He went on, “I also get quite a lot of welfare points. There’s an annual ₩2.00 million KRW (about $1,390 USD) budget for self-care, and I get ₩500,000 KRW (about $347 USD) support when buying a cell phone,” emphasizing that he receives the same benefits as regular employees.
When Jun Hyun Moo asked, “I heard you get 2 million won when you get married, too,” K.Will replied, “I don’t know if I’ll continue to get it in the future, but the system is in place,” adding a laugh. Yang Se Hyung expressed envy, saying, “How stable it must be to have a fixed monthly salary outside of broadcasting.”
