Super Junior Kyuhyun’s Response To Recent Controversy Garners Even More Backlash

Netizens wish he would just stay quiet.

Recently, Super Junior’s Kyuhyun was criticized for his behavior towards a female Devil’s Plan contestant.

The clip of his behavior towards Kang Ji Young received hundreds of comments in hours, with netizens hitting back at his behavior toward her.

However, things did not end there. Kyuhyun was hit with backlash again after he posted a reaction video of the show on his YouTube channel.

When the scene of Kang Ji Young saying she couldn’t trust Kyuhyun played, he sent her a text in the group chat about the scene, even though it was her wedding anniversary.

With this, he received criticism again, with netizens wondering whether he did it publicly to make her look bad.

And as if that wasn’t enough, his most recent Bubble message to fans garnered much attention on online community sites.

They couldn’t air everything on broadcast…The production staff and I have a lot of things we wish made it in too, but nothing we can do now! I’ll share the full story later. Don’t be too upset! And just in case, the cast are all very close, so we understand each other and have a great relationship, so please look at us in a good light. Everyone has their perspective!

However, netizens were in disbelief at his actions even while watching the show for a reaction video.

  • “If he could only keep his mouth shut…”
  • “Stop talking sh*t..doesn’t change the fact that you are strange.”
  • “What’s with him…he needs some self-objectification.”
  • “It disgusts me that he still thinks he’s done nothing wrong while filming a review video on the show. I forgot he was in Super Junior…”
  • “Seriously….and to think this is real and not a concept.”
  • “He didn’t think he’d get this kind of response after going on that show? He’s been a celebrity long enough…he’s still got a long way to go…”
