Since debuting, the group’s songs have taken over the world of K-Pop, and the members’ talent, visuals, and charming personalities have made them one of the most-loved groups.

It meant that when it was announced that the group was releasing their first full-length album in May, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement. As the concept photos started to be released, fans anticipated the comeback a lot.

Even when the first glimpse of the album was released, netizens couldn’t hide their excitement. It showed that the there were 13 tracks and the preview of the album seemed to excite fans with the idea of different concepts.

Yet, it seems like one part of the group’s comeback has become a hot topic… for all the wrong reasons.

On April 17, images of what fans can expect from the “Compact version” of their upcoming album were posted. The first two pictures showed what the outside of the album would look like, giving fans a taste of the album’s theme and how it runs through all the elements.

The tweet then showed the inclusions, including the cd, photocards, poster, and lyric sheet. Like the first pictures, there seemed to be a running theme for the album’s aesthetics.

Yet, while fans are excited about the album, the design of this album came under huge criticism after they saw the image and unconventional graphics. In particular, netizens compared the brown marks to poop, making the funniest jokes about whoever designed the album.

While many fans joked about the album, others were genuinely disappointed that the group’s first full-length album was designed like this. In particular, with the strong title, many pointed out there were many ways to make an extremely badass cover.

LE SSERAFIM will undoubtedly slay in their comeback, but it has disappointed fans that more thought and care weren’t put into the album design to match such a badass concept.
