LE SSERAFIM‘s Sakura has been friends with comedian Kang Hodong for a long time, so many fans are excited to see them reunited on his Naver NOW show, where Sakura hilariously calls him out for past slights.
Sakura made her K-Pop debut with the iconic group IZ*ONE in 2018 and has remained an icon herself ever since then.
In fact, as one of the most experienced idols in LE SSERAFIM (along with fellow former IZ*ONE member Chaewon), Sakura has often been a source of comfort for her members, whether it’s by taking care of maknae Eunchae or by standing up for her members against HYBE‘s dieting expectations.
But if there’s one way in which Sakura has also proven her icon status, it’s by showing off her “savage” sense of humor. Sakura is set to make an appearance in Hodong’s new talk show Just Come Out, and fans are loving the dynamic between them.
Yet, though they have been friends for a while, Sakura had a bone to pick with him—and it left fans very amused. In the teaser for the episode of Just Come Out starring Sakura, she hilariously called him out for not making time to hang out with her and even forgetting her debut.
It’s been 5 years since I’ve been in Korea and we’ve only met 3 times. Also, when I debuted, you never congratulated me, so I am disappointed.
Hodong looked appropriately chastised. In hopes of sending the belated congratulatory gift or message, he asked, “Where is your address?” Sakura simply replied “HYBE.”
And when he asked again, “HYBE?”, little did he expect that the question would expose him to further clowning, which Sakura did not hesitate to do. Driving her point home, she said, “Just go to the first floor and ask for LE SSERAFIM’s Sakura.”
It looks like their chaotic bestie dynamic is going to make for a promising episode, so fans can definitely look forward to seeing Sakura on Hodong’s Just Come Out on October 19!
