… K-Pop fans are now celebrating Lee Hyori’s brand new accomplishment!
As the OG K-Pop superstar from the industry’s first generation girl group, Lee Hyori — as Fin.K.L — topped music charts in 1998 and 1999, with classics like “To My Boyfriend” and “Eternal Love”.
Then, as the most empowering female solo to have blessed Korea, Lee Hyori topped charts again in 2000s with her massive hits “10 Minutes”, “U-Go-Girl”, and more.
By 2010s, Lee Hyori became simply irreplaceable — with her “irresistibly naughty” charms. She topped charts with iconic bops like “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” and “Bad Girls”.
Finally, in 2020, Lee Hyori as SSAK3 climbed to the top of the chart again with “Beach Again”. She is now the only act in Korea to have conquered the chart every single decade since 1990…
… as well as the the first and only to have dominated the music charts as a girl group, a solo artist, and a co-ed trio! Impressive, right?
But K-Pop fans are not at all surprised that Lee Hyori has been stealing hearts for four consecutive decades. She’s a natural on stage and a darling on TV programs. Her undying visuals absolutely help too! Like… Who’d be able to resist? Not us!
Congratulations to the record-breaking queen, Lee Hyori!
