“Never Wanted JYP” — Legendary JYP Entertainment Idol Almost Joined Another “Big 3” Company 

Wonder Girls‘ Yubin recently shocked fans when she revealed a surprising part of her trainee journey. Despite her strong association with JYP Entertainment, she revealed that joining the company wasn’t something she ever imagined or planned for.

In a recent video shared on her YouTube channel, Yubin shared that she never wanted to join JYP Entertainment because she thought she didn’t fit the company.

Yubin: Because I spent so many years there… JYP to the bone But I never imagined I’d end up at JYP.

Moreover, Yubin reluctantly revealed which companies she had actually dreamed of getting into. Before her debut, she actually dreamed of joining one of the other “Big 3” entertainment companies — SM Entertainment or YG Entertainment.

Because originally, I… I guess I can say it here. I really never once thought, “I want to go into JYP.” I think this is the first time I’m saying this. But I wanted to go to SM or YG. I never thought of JYP.
