Live Nation Taiwan Canceled 4 BLACKPINK Concert Tickets And Here’s Why

Live Nation Taiwan canceled the four tickets after BLACKPINK concert tickets sold out in just one minute.

BLACKPINK‘s concert tickets have been selling fast in all their venues, selling out in just minutes usually, and it has been the same for their scheduled concert in Kaohsiung, Taipei.

Four concert tickets in Kaohsiung were canceled on November 10 after reports of outrageously high ticket prices were marked up more than forty-five times their original price. The tickets were for BLACKPINK’s concert at Kaohsiung National Stadium in southern Taiwan on March 18, 2023.

Concert tickets were open for pre-sale in four rounds and were sold out within a minute in the last round on November 10. The four tickets were officially priced at NT$8,800 (US$276) but were seen for sale for as much as NT$400,000 (US$12,576) on popular e-commerce platforms.

After taking note of the abnormally priced tickets, BLACKPINK’s world tour organizer in the country, Live Nation Taiwan, announced they would cancel the tickets. The four tickets will be put up for sale again by the said organizer.
