4th Gen Idol Seemingly Hints At Group’s Disbandment In “Final” Messages
A member of the 4th generation boy group LMX (LUMINOUS)has seemingly hinted at the group’s disbandment.
LUMINOUS debuted in 2021 under SE Group Entertainment, a label formed by Kim Sung Eun, a vocal trainer who previously worked with idols like BTS and TWICE. The group, originally made up of five pre-debut members, featured faces familiar to those who watched Produce X 101.
On June 27, KST, Dear. U Bubble messenger sent out notices that LUMINOUS’s service would be “temporarily on hold.” The notice stated that no new tickets could be purchased after that date and that the suspension would begin on July 19.
Some messages from member Woobin have led fans to believe that the group may be ending.
First, on the day of the notice, Woobin shared that he found out about the suspension at the same time as the fans. Several groups that had not been made aware of their Bubble accounts being suspended, like the girl group Nature, ultimately ended up disbanding.

Just before the official suspension day, Woobin shared another message with fans, which seemed to be one of his last. In the message, he thanked fans for a “beautiful chapter of youth” that was now completed and expressed his desire to “pretend everything’s okay” and comfort fans.
I want to reassure you and pretend everything’s okay, but all I can say is: remember, no matter how tough or unpleasant the memories, thanks to you, Y/N, a beautiful chapter of youth has been completed. I fear it would be sad if Y/N were to forget us.
— Woobin
The group’s most recent comeback took place in 2022, and they were part of the recently postponed AriaFest’s line-up under the name LMX.
