“Love Alarm 2” Extra’s Instagram Following Grows By Thousands Overnight Thanks To TikTok
Love Alarm returned with its long-awaited second season over the weekend on Netflix. Some of the new castmembers have stolen the show!
TikTok user Eunice (username is @fullseon) posted a video, asking her followers if they knew who one of the extras in Jo Jo’s class was. Specifically, the young man Jo Jo’s college best friend Mon Soon has a crush on. His Love Alarm rings whenever he walks into class.
After searching for him online, Eunice could not find him with the other Love Alarm cast. She decided to watch through the credits, and she finally found him! From there, she was able even to find his Instagram account. She created another TikTok to share the update with her followers and revealed that his name is Ryu Jaehan.

After her TikTok video went viral, his Instagram followers grew from 140 to now 94.8k! She and Ryu Jaehan also started private messaging each other, and she explained to him how his following grew overnight. He told her that he was so surprised by it but thankful. He has since watched Love Alarm 2 and thought he could have done better in some parts, but he will continue to work hard to show a better side of himself.

He also shared that the Instagram account that she found wasn’t actually his main account. The account below is his main account, and it appears that he has a cute puppy too! Since Eunice posted another update on TikTok, he has gained 20,000 followers on his account.

Ryu Jaehan was able to grab everyone’s attention with just a small role in Love Alarm 2; we can only imagine what he can accomplish in the future with a lead role. We can’t wait to see him in more K-Dramas!
