Though fans of MAMAMOO collectively are known as MooMoos, Hwasa as a soloist hasn’t had an official fanclub name despite debuting as a solo artist five years ago, back in February 2019.
But now that has changed, and the name that Hwasa has revealed for her fans is amusing and endearing, and means a lot to her and those who support her.
On March 11, she revealed that her official fandom name is TWITS, referencing back to her debut song “TWIT”. While the word can sound like an insult at first, Hwasa has shared what it actually means to her and why she uses the word as a term of endearment.
“If someone hears <TWIT> they might take it the wrong way, but for me it describes the unconditional love someone gives you”

Hwasa shared the news on her personal Instagram story, and her new label, P NATION, also made a post on Twitter about the official fandom name.
