MAMAMOO Wheein Suffers Ankle Injury, Participates In Schedules According To Her Own Will

She went to Vietnam to see her fans despite her injury.

MAMAMOO’s Wheein has suffered an ankle injury but attended her schedule in Vietnam anyway in order to meet fans.

MAMAMOO’s agency announced through the group’s fan cafe how Wheein ended up getting hurt.

“On her way back home from her schedules on the night of the 27th, Wheein twisted her ankle on the stairs and went to the hospital. According to test results, there was no bruising but because it could add pressure to the ligament, she was treated with a cast and ankle guard.”

They also revealed that despite her injury, Wheein voluntarily decided to attend her schedules in Vietnam in order to meet the local fans.

“Although it was recommended that participating in the Vietnam schedules would be too hard on her, Wheein was set on meeting the local fans and therefore, she was accompanied to the Vietnam schedule. She did not suffer any injuries with the excpetion of her ankles and her general condition was fine but following the recommendations of the doctor, she will be performing sitting on a chair.”

“Hello. This is RBW.

We give our statement regarding MAMAMOO member Wheein’s ankle injury.

On her way back home from her schedules on the night of the 27th, Wheein twisted her ankle on the stairs and went to the hospital.

According to test results, there was no bruising but because it could add pressure to the ligament, she was treated with a cast and ankle guard.

Although it was recommended that participating in the Vietnam schedule today (28th) would be too hard on her, Wheein was set on meeting the local fans and therefore, she was accompanied to the Vietnam schedule.

She did not suffer any injuries with the exception of her ankles and her general condition was fine but following the recommendations of the doctor, she will be performing sitting on a chair.

In addition, we will continue to adjust future schedules according to Wheein’s condition.
