MBC’s Show Champion will be taking a short hiatus as it begin its restructuring plans set for January 2015, along with a new MC leading as Super Junior’s Kangin steps down from his current role as the MC.
According to the music show’s official on November 25th, “Tomorrow (26th), we will air a special 120-minutes episode, and will briefly take a hiatus. We will be revamping the show for its second season for the new year in January with a new concept.”
Show Champion made its airing debut in February 2012 with Super Junior’s Shindong and gag woman Kim Shin Young as its leading MCs, until their departure later that December. They were replaced by T-ARA’s Eunjung and f(x)’s Amber, who hosted the music show between January and December 2013. After returning safely from the military, Kangin took up the MCs ability solo, and has retired from his role following the last episode aired on the 26th.
