MC Mong Responds To Allegations Claiming He Tried To Poach EXO-CBX From SM Entertainment

SM Entertainment had levied the allegations in a furious statement.

MC Mong responded to allegations that he coerced EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin into leaving SM Entertainment.

On June 2, MC Mong, through his lawyer, denied that he had anything to do with the idols’ departures.

We are making it clear that MC Mong has done nothing to incite any disputes related to Baekhyun, Chen, and Xiumin. As MC Mong is not an executive in Big Planet Made, this rumor is far from the truth.

MC Mong’s lawyer then stated that his client’s relationship with the idols is nothing more than that of a sunbae and hoobae and that he has never tried to recruit them to another label.

MC Mong simply has a sunbae/hoobae relationship with his fellow musicians. He has never used his friendship with the idols to recruit them. He simply consoled the artists who were having issues with their labels in a casual setting. MC Mong has never done anything illegal, as SM Entertainment claims, and isn’t in a position to even do so.
