On January 28, KST, former ADOR CEO Min Hee Jin held a press conference through her legal representative, addressing allegations of trying to “poach” NewJeans (NJZ).

In the press conference, Min’s side claimed that the accusation of tampering was a “conspiracy” to disrupt the stock market, orchestrated by a “specific businessman,” and the family of one NewJeans member.

Min’s side also released a transcript of her conversation with Park Jeong Gyu, the chairman of DAVOLINK, who allegedly received an investment offer from her in August last year, with Mr. B, the uncle of NewJeans member A, serving as a mediator.

The record revealed that Park Jeong Gyu was pursuing Min Hee Jin to attend the ICAE 2024 conference with the NewJeans members. Park also reassured her that he would block HYBE founder Bang Si Hyuk from attending the event.

Regarding Bang’s attendance, Park also claimed that he was invited to the event by the president of a media outlet. He claimed that Bang had family ties to that media professional and, hence, controlled all the media in the country.
