Fresh from her debut, Momoland’s Yeonwoo temporarily suspended all of her activities due to health reasons.
On December 21st, Duble Kick Company announced that Yeonwoo will be excluded from Momoland’s activities due to her ill health.
A statement was posted on their official fan cafe.
“Due to Yeonwoo’s constant pleas and complaints of continuous waist and shoulder pains, it was decided that she would need intensive care during a temporary break from promotions where she can focus her all on recovering. More than anything, a speedy recovery is the most important for Yeonwoo.”
“We apologize for suddenly relaying such unfortunate news. We ask from fans lots of love and support so that Yeonwoo can recover quickly and join the rest of Momoland soon.”
For the time being, Momoland will continue with six members (Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy) while Yeonwoo receives treatment.
Yeonwoo was known for her many talents as a member but was mainly tasked as a vocalist and rapper. She made her debut with Momoland formed by Duble Sidekick. They made their debut last November after winning on the reality program, Finding Momoland.
