MONSTA X’s I.M will be the last member to enlist, doing so this February.
On the 12th, MONSTA X’s agency Starship Entertainment announced via their official fan cafe, “I.M will enter the training center on February 9th to undergo basic military training and will fulfill his mandatory military service as an active-duty soldier in the Army.”
The agency stated, “There will be no separate official event on the day of his enlistment. Since the enlistment ceremony involves many military personnel and family members, we kindly ask fans to refrain from visiting to ensure the safety of everyone present.”
They added, “We ask for fans’ unwavering love and support so that I.M can faithfully carry out his military duties and return healthier than ever.”
Starting with Shownu’s enlistment in July 2021, all MONSTA X members except for I.M had completed their military service, with Hyungwon being discharged in May last year, allowing the group to commemorate their 10th anniversary with a full lineup comeback.
