MONSTA X’s Joohoney Tests Positive For COVID-19

Recently, MONSTA X’s Joohoney tested positive for COVID-19. Regardless of his test results, the group’s new album will release as scheduled on April 26. Below is the official statement.

Hello, this is Starship Entertainment. On April 9, MONSTA X’s Joohoney experienced symptoms of a sore throat and conducted a self-test kit. After receiving a postiive results, he conducted a rapid antigen test on April 10 and confirmed positive for COVID-19. 

Joohoney has completed the third round of the vaccine and has no other symptoms other than a mild sore throat. Currently, he has suspended all activities and is receiving treatment at home, separate the other members, according to the guidelines of the quarantine authorities. 

The release of MONSTA’s upcoming mini album, ‘SHAPE of LOVE’, will be released as scheduled on April 26. We will strictly comply with the quarantine guidelines and consider the health and safety of our artists as our top priority. We will do our best to focus on his recovery. Thank you.
