MONSTA X‘s Kihyun is going viral for a wholesome interaction!

Unfortunately, MONSTA X are currently nearing the end of their highly anticipated 2022 NO LIMIT US TOUR. It’s surely been a memorable experience for everyone as the tour contained unforgettable moments as the members delivered flawless live vocals, showstopping choreography, and, of course, hilarious antics. There have even been beautiful fan projects. 

One of their recent shows was on June 6 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

As always, the members delivered a phenomenal performance, leaving MONBEBEs in awe.

Yet, the highlight of the concert now going viral on social media is an unexpected and wholesome interaction between Kihyun and an elderly woman in attendance.

In the video, Kihyun spots the elderly woman who made her way to his side of the stage. He grins from ear to ear and makes a heart with his arms, and she returns the gesture!

After she greets Kihyun, she makes her way out of the crowd, and he continues to smile in her direction while waving bye.

The adorable moment has been reaching across social media platforms, such as Twitter and TikTok. Netizens are admiring the diversity of MONSTA X’s fanbase.

If you’ve attended a MONSTA X concert, you know that there are people of all genders, races, and ages. So, it’s not unusual to see an older woman.

Nevertheless, the elderly woman in question may not be your average MONBEBE. The original poster, MayG (@Armybebe4gOT7 on social media), claimed that the woman Kihyun interacted with was his halmoni (grandma).

Fans in attendance pointed out that both Joohoney and Kihyun were known to have family in the audience in Fort Worth. They have relatives who live in Dallas, Texas.

MayG added that it is definitely an “older family member“ of Kihyun’s, most likely his grandma, because he had brought attention to the family members in attendance during his ending speech.
