Four K-Pop idols are going viral for “serving” while serving.

MONSTA X’s Minhyuk
GOT7’s Jinyoung
Ha Sungwoon
Ong Seongwu

MONSTA X‘s Minhyuk, GOT7‘s Jinyoung, and former Wanna One members Ong Seongwu (also romanized as Ong Seong Woo) and Ha Sungwoon are 3rd gen K-Pop idols who are currently fulfilling their mandatory military enlistment. While they can’t perform with their groups during their service, they did have the opportunity to showcase their talents at the Ground Forces Festival (also known as 2023 Army Fest) recently.

As they performed part of the same group of soldiers, Jinyoung, Minhyuk, Seongwu, and Sungwoon did dance covers of many hit K-Pop songs, such as NewJeans‘ “Super Shy” and LE SSERAFIM‘s “Eve, Psyche, & The Bluebeard’s Wife.”

They also danced side-by-side to Jeon Somi‘s “Fast Forward.” It garnered 626.9K views on TikTok at the time of writing.

And, of course, each member included one of his own songs. For GOT7, they danced to “Hard Carry.”

Wanna One’s “Energetic” was performed naturally with two members there.

The MONSTA X song included was “Shoot Out.” Fans suspect that Jinyoung watched videos of leader Shownu for inspiration.
