Mukbang YouTuber Tzuyang’s Weight Hits All-Time Low Despite 6-Hour Binge-Eating
Mukbang creator Tzuyang, who won the Popularity Award at the MBC Entertainment Awards, is making a comeback on The Manager.
The 389th episode of MBC‘s variety show The Manager, airing on Saturday the 14th, will reveal the daily life of Tzuyang, the trending mukbang creator with 13.1 million subscribers, following her business trip to Hong Kong.
In particular, a snack package filling two moving boxes, as if she had raided an entire Hong Kong convenience store, appeared and shocked the show’s commentators. The scale of this “eating” business trip, far beyond a typical souvenir trip, will be unveiled through the broadcast.
A candid talk between Tzuyang and her manager Oh Soo Bin, both turning 30 this year, also draws attention. Tzuyang shared worries about gaining weight or losing her appetite like before, after hearing that her father, who usually maintains a slim physique, experienced a change in metabolism upon entering his 30s.
However, those fears proved unfounded. Tzuyang, who said she lost her appetite during her Hong Kong trip, devoured 3 kg of steak and 10 kg of flower crab, and after returning, enjoyed shabu-shabu for six hours, adding broth 15 times—a behind-the-scenes story she revealed.

Additionally, starting from morning, she easily finished various flavors of cup noodles and snacks brought from Hong Kong, along with a large serving of coffee made by pouring 15 packets of coffee mix at once, showcasing her unmatched appetite. Yet surprisingly, it was revealed that her body weight hit an all-time low, astonishing everyone.
Meanwhile, Tzuyang shared another good news. After the in-flight ramen recipe she recreated on the last The Manager episode was partially cut but later posted online, it amassed 920,000 views and sparked a buzz. That recipe even led to an actual product launch and an advertising model contract.
At the commercial shoot, Tzuyang’s extraordinary eating habits remained evident. Despite staff warnings that “you can spit it out if you’re full,” she ate all the ramen used for filming, surprising the crew. Even during brief breaks, unable to hold her hunger, she wandered looking for food, turning the studio into a sea of laughter.
The amazing “eating” day of MBC Entertainment Awards Popularity Award winner Tzuyang can be seen on Saturday the 14th at 11:10 p.m. on MBC’s The Manager.
