Nana Reveals Why She Was So Attracted To Her Character In The Upcoming K-Drama “Oh My Landlord”

Nana recently discussed details on her upcoming K-Drama, Oh My Landlord with fellow actor Lee Min Ki! In her interview, Nana shared some insight into her character Oh Ju In and why she was so attracted to the role in the first place.

The anticipated K-Drama Oh My Landlord follows the storyline of Oh Ju In, a romantic comedy actress, and Han Bi Soo (Lee Min Ki) who’s a top thriller writer. The two characters share some complications when it comes to relationships. Despite Nana’s character being a rom-com actress, Oh Ju In “Can’t” date and Han Bi Soo “Won’t” date.

CNBLUE‘s Minhyuk is also starred in the drama as he plays the drama’s lead character Jung Yoo Jin. Jung Yoo In is not only Oh Ju In’s close friend but a third-generation chaebol as well.

Nana revealed that she hopes through Oh Ju In that she can show a mature appearance as an actress as well as great emotional expressions. Nana also shared that she felt she could bring Oh Ju In to life well because of how they share similar jobs.

I thought I could approach and understand the character more comfortably because I would be able to sympathize many things with her since we have the same job. Also, I wanted to express a daughter’s love and care for her mother in an honest and comfortable way through Oh Ju In.

As for what attracted her to the role, Nana revealed that Oh Ju In has several charming points to her that make her incredibly charming.

Oh Ju In likes to give to people, and that kind of behavior is natural to her, which makes her a warm person. Also, she tries to see the good sides of people and share them with the person in an honest way.

Nana also added that she found it appealing that she and her character share similar professions. However, while the two may share similar careers, Nana revealed there are still some differences between them.

Oh Ju In and I have similar jobs and personalities, but we have some differences, like the situations we’re in, so our synchronization rate is 70 percent.

While Nana claimed the synchronization is only at 70 percent, the drama’s production crew clarified that the synchronization is more like 99 to 100 percent.
