NCT 127 To Be First K-Pop Group To Perform At Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade
NCT 127 will be the first K-Pop artist invited to perform at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade in New York on November 28.
This year marks the 93rd annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade, and is an event hosted by famous shopping brand, Macy’s. This large-scale parade invites celebrities from all over the world and starts in Central Park and continue to Herald Square.
On November 1, the official site revealed the 2019 Performer Lineup for the parade. In the introduction for NCT 127, they wrote,
This Seoul-based global pop group combines sounds in pop, R&B, hip-hop, and Latin trap and has shaken up the K-Pop world since their 2016 mega-hit “Fire Truck.” Recently, they released their 2019 EP We Are Superhuman and a new single, Highway to Heaven, which is a hit that transcends K-Pop boundaries and is likely to help propel NCT 127 into the American mainstream.
This parade will also be broadcasted live worldwide through NBC.
